I will just about fall in love with any male that will let me tie him up and use his body as my personal playground

in the spirit of halloween, list your all-time fave horror flicks.
these are mine:.
nosferatu.
1. Silence of the Lambs
2. Alien. (When I saw this in a theater when it first came out,
a man a couple of rows front of me and off to the right,
literally threw his tub of popcorn in the air dumping the
contents all over the people behind him when that gross
"baby" alien first popped out of that guys chest)
3. Trilogy of Terror. (So bad, it's good!)
where do i begin?
i have a problem here.
because of the teachings i had from a very young age, i refused to take a shot with blood in it.
Welcome XAPITI,
I am also very sorry to hear about your children.
My daughter is a leukemia survivor and when she was very ill there was no substitute for blood. No blood meant her death, period.
Haven't been a JW for years, but I often wonder what I would have done if I had been one at the time of her diagnoses. I did ask, however, what the hospital would have done if I had refused blood transfusions for her. Like with you, they would have gotten a court order overriding my refusal.
Take care of yourself and your boys.

question for the panel, please?.
at my local kmart there is always a jw table set up.
i dont get close enough to actually see what literature is set on the table but close enough to view the free bible study sign prominently displayed in the midst of books, etc.. generally, this card table is manned by two or three young women.
Hey Thirdson,
I'm interested. Post it!
Thanks

Well, now you all got me thinking. I never have gotten close enough to actually see the literature on the table. Just the big "Free Bible study" sign in the middle of it all.
I know they are down there right now as I type this. I have also seen them in front of Walmart in a neighboring city. However, if memory serves me, these ladies were "properly" attired. They were, indeed, witnesses because I saw the books.
Well, my mission, if I choose to accept it, is to find out if these people are bonafide witnesses and maybe have a bit of fun.
Thanks for your responses.

At my local Kmart there is always a JW table set up. I don’t get close enough to actually see what literature is set on the table but close enough to view the “Free Bible Study” sign prominently displayed in the midst of books, etc.
Generally, this card table is “manned” by two or three young women. These women are casually dressed (tank tops and jeans). Very different from the attire that I have encountered with witnesses when they have come to my door or that I know personally. I suppose I noticed the style of dress because of the numerous posts here about the dresses and pantyhose thing. Yesterday, I did observe, however, two older gentlemen with white shirts and ties.
Seeing them sitting there got me questioning whether or not this is considered equal “service” with going door to door? I have never seen anyone stop by the table. The looks on the faces of the individuals sitting behind the table I would not interpret as welcoming. So, I also question this method as an effective recruiting tool.
Anyone have experience doing their “time” this way?
I am sometimes tempted to walk up and say, “How about that WT/UN scandal”?!

i am new here, i found this website a few days ago and have not been able to stop reading it.
my father was a jehovah witness, as was his sister.
the worst treatment i have received anywhere in this world came from these two people.
Hi Celebrate,
Welcome to the board. I'm so sorry for all the things you had to endure with your JW Father and Aunt. However! You have endured!!
Good for you!
Glad you shared your experience with us.
