Did You Enjoy Simply Passing The Bread & Wine At The Memorial?
by minimus ini remember how little kids got so excited when they got to actually touch the glass and the dish!
yet, most people seemed to (respectfully) keep their heads down and try to look morbidly serious.
was the act of "passing the emblems" a thrill for you?

dh
i hated the memorial, i always thought it was total garbage.

what do you prefer, love or good regular sex?
by dh ini know some married women, and what disturbs me is that so many of them tell me that though they love thier husbands, they will go elsewhere for good sex.
sure they are flirting, but they don't sleep around with just anyone, they just have a husband & a sex partner/partners.
the women i am talking about range in age from being fairly young to 50+, so i wondered, is this normal or are the people i know just freaks?.
-
dh
When I was a younger man - I wanted good sex -- now I have matured a little I want love
i'm still pretty young but i agree with you, i haven't really loved anyone so i don't have much to compare it to, but i find casual sex with no real emotional attachment is more of a game or a routine than anything else, but not particularly fulfilling.
Are you defining love as an emotion or a decision.
Yeru, not sure what love, is, i was r eiterating what people have said to me, that they love their spouse, but cheat. my idea of love it is such that i would rather have the routine of casual sex and be single than settle with the wrong person and cheat on them. i guess as everyone has said, sex with the person you're in love with is ideal, but if not, though i can handle sex without love, love without sex would be a lot more difficult since the physical drive is there.
flower, your post was interesting, as a guy, if i wasn't fully functional i wouldn't want any woman to waste her feelings on me, and i would definitely struggle to be faithful in a relationship that had no sex.

I need to prove that the WT BS is false
by dh into a very close relative, who said they will listen if i can mail them info.
basically i need to present the truth about the truth, but only things that can be verified either in society print, or in the case of the un, from the un itself, no opinions, just documents that can be checked, preferably old and new and on varying matters, inconsistencies, blatant changes in doctrine etc, with references.. .
it's always been so 'matter of fact' for me that it's all false, i fear that if i try to provide information with just my own mindset, i will miss a lot and might not provide the best info, i have tried searching on the site but there are so many posts i struggle to find even posts i remember seeing last month.. .

thanks everyone for the links and information!
Surely you've seen http://quotes.jehovahswitnesses.com/ haven't you?
nathan, i'd not seen it until just now, i like that it's as fully loaded as the freeminds one, just without the commentry, i think that is a great site. i've actually never looked at any other jw sites besides this one i don't think.
Only do two points at a time
There are none as deaf as those that do not want to hear and none as blind as those that do not want to see
you're right about it not being best to nail hundreds of points, and since the phone conversation i had yesterday, where i mentioned the UN & Crisis of Conscience, and the person i'm talking to has already checked out the Guardian article, so the interest to know more is there, thankfully ears aren't totally deaf, it'll be a slow process, but now i have some idea where to find the information.
I had compiled about five documents that pretty much nailed shut the WT coffin with their own words.
you have a PM runningman, thanks!
