  when i first joined the forum a short while ago the aforesaid book was recommended to me after i ranted about the disgusting, genocidal machinations of jehovah.

  nathaniel merritt, although i don't concur with all he says, is a very brave and bright guy.

  his abhorence of the nightmarish evil perpetrated by this god mirrored the thoughts that i've been having for a few years now.

  Is Time Speeding up? The Schumann Resonance

  from what i have been reading recently, time has been steadily speeding up, and measurably so, according to the measurements of the schuman resonance.

  we now fit more or less, 18 months into a 12 month year.. apparantly, this is supposed to continue up until the 21st or 23rd december 2012. at this point the earth will be at the end of its 26,000 year cycle .

  we on the earth orbit the sun.

  (prweb) february 21, 2005 -- many people will remember a famous tv ad where a woman races to her washing machine, fabric softener in hand, only to arrive just as the wash ends.

  this woman who "forgot to ad the fabric softener" was actually doing herself and her family a favor.. .

  Was Jesus sacrifice really a sacrifice?

  i would like to state firstly that i in no way intend to offend anyone.. its just when i was in the org i had major problems with the blood issue/death because of persecution.

  many times we were taught that god does`nt ask us to do anything that he has`nt done himself.

  now imagine everything the bible says about jesus really did happen.

  Brand New Blood Card

  hubby has just come back from the service meeting where they have been handed out brand new style blood cards, now called 'advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment' .

  it's quite a bit different.

  and has the line on it about giving permission to the hospital liason committee to see your notes and medical records.. very scary stuff i think, and i certainly wont be filling one in.. i'm really short of time tonight, but will scan it in, along with the notes that go with it and try and post it some time over the next day or so if someone else doesn't beat me to it!.

  Thank you Narkissos for your reply to me. There is so little time and there is so much to learn and ponder. The more one learns the more one realizes there is so much more to know and try to make sense of.

  The ransom sacrifice starts to make less and less sense as one goes on.

  If God set the penalty for sin as death and ALSO that this sin spread to ALL men threreby everyone deserves to die. God then abruptly decides that He himself (if trinitarian) or his son (if not trinitarian) must die to appease or reverse the death penalty He himself imposed, which believe it or not is paid to God himself. If not to God himself then who is it paid to?

  Something just doesn't seem right in all this.

  I never knew the ransom sacrifice doctrine was not central in the beginning or right after Jesus death. Interesting stuff. I need to do some more reading once again.

  The elders know that I have read apostate stuff and also have said truthfull but embarassing things about the teachings from the literature and the GB, and so far they have left me alone. I think they know it could get worse if they press it.
