  well, i've decided to try my hand at a different type of writing.

  my atheist's book of bible stories is nearly complete, so i thought i would write the epic masterpiece history of my family, from the time that they came to canada until today.

  i am calling the book "east of edenwold" (which is a small town in saskatchewan).

  Brand New Blood Card

  hubby has just come back from the service meeting where they have been handed out brand new style blood cards, now called 'advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment' .

  it's quite a bit different.

  and has the line on it about giving permission to the hospital liason committee to see your notes and medical records.. very scary stuff i think, and i certainly wont be filling one in.. i'm really short of time tonight, but will scan it in, along with the notes that go with it and try and post it some time over the next day or so if someone else doesn't beat me to it!.

  How is it that... (PLEASE provide input)

  during my discussion with death to the pixies i hit on something that he brushed off as irrelevant.

  in trying to make it clearer for him why the question mattered to me i stumbled across the best proof for myself that this cannot be god's organization and the bible students/jws have been being lied to from the beginning.. in 1930 over 80,000 professed anointed had no clue that they were god's sole channel of communication to mankind, even though jehovah's witnesses now teach that the anointed have been that sole channel ever since pentecost of 33 c.e.. question #1: how is it possible that god's channel of communication didn't even know they were his channel of communication?.

  question #2: if the true anointed brothers of christ have always been god's sole channel of communication to mankind since penetcost 33 c.e., why would jesus need to choose them in 1919; didn't he already know who god's channel was?.

  Question #1: How is it possible that God's Channel of communication didn't even know they were his Channel of communication?

  Question #2: If the true anointed brothers of Christ have ALWAYS been God's sole Channel of communication to mankind since Penetcost 33 C.E., why would Jesus need to choose them in 1919; didn't he already know who God's Channel was?

  hot news from todays morning worship announcement worldwide -- letter from gb being read on 1st of march 2006 to every branch (hopefully we will have a copy of the letter soon.).

  How long were slaughtered animals to be bled for?

  in the topic of 'jws and dairy products' i was beginning to wonder why there were no guidlines in the bible as to 'how long' and animal had to be bled for when it was killed.

  was there a specific time mentioned in the bible...or in the end, the fact that there was no specific time instructed, supposedly by god' must prove that the no blood sanction was just a symbolic gesture?

  it is totally impossible to bleed every last drop of blood out of a creature, surely.

  Which totally avoids the problem posed by the text. They forget that the pagans did not bleed the animals sacrificed in temple rituals.

  Hello Leo,

  How do you suppose the pagans killed a bull if they did not bleed it to death? I cant imagine clubbing an oxen to death or trying to strangle it. Do you know of records as to how they accomplished the task?
