People are hard to please nowadays...
by Joliette ini was just thinking about this the other day.
it seems that people, both non-jw's and believe jw's, have this sense of emptiness inside of them.. maybe its because of the technology?
or maybe its because people catch on to bullshit quicker then they did say, 30 plus years ago?.

Hi Joliette.There seems to be this blanket of synicism that exist here in the world. In and out of the KH. People don't seem to want to be bothered, no matter where you go. There are moments when even I just wanna' creawl in my shell and just disappear into the woodwork. I saw a kid at the supermarket who merely asked me if he could help with the groceries. 11 yo maybe. I said no, as it was only 3 bags. I found myself wanting to give him a dollar anyway. I'll need to be more mindful of that urge in the future. NRFG it's an unfortunate truth that time is definitely operating against our better judgement. Instant everything. Bigger is better. New and improved. Its all so much hype. I hold my head in my hands when the advertisements for the next great miracle show up. Come buy, hurry as this deal wont last long.......but wait, buy one now and we'll give you a second one free.

It's coming. With out Question. Not in the "Boomer Generation" maybe, but it will be here. We didn't get caught up in the lie, so much as in the dream that we were the only ones to figure out the End from the middle. JW's got a lot of the story straight regarding the truth of the scriptures, the other 33.3% percent, however they got complrtely ass backward. ( other sheep, 144,000, et.al.) You couldn't tell us anything because we had the only answer for a world gone Madd. The world is going to get demonstrably worse as time continues on. It will not get any better.
Over 6,000 years of human existence in various stages stupidity, mindlessness and running away from the reality of God, will all but guarantee man's failure to get it right. He has never figured it out up to now, and God will certainly prove man a liar, as to his ability and capacity to sucessfully live without His direction. We can not forever thumb our nose at our Creator. Man's time here continues to be a testimony to the fact, that life lived in absence of his Creator is guaranteed for none other than failure. We are but mortar for bricks in a continuing wall of time, that God is from everlasting to everlasting. Only in his due time will He bring us to that awesome place where we can live under his rule as he would have had for us from the begining.

Tired of the Hurt Feelings and Whining

but, i'm tired of people claming they were "so" mistreated here.. i have found folks here like anywhere else.
occasionally you can disagree, but for the most part, good people.. also, everyone here has been part or is part of a congregation.
