  Why are women angry?

  I have to give credit where credit is due, if a man was required to go thru the struggle that it cost to be a woman, he would commit suicide before exiting puberty.

  There is a strength that is unique to women, you are the closest being on the planet that can be likened to God. You all are co-conspirators with God in that you have the power of creation that exist in the womb, though many of those creations come into question like say...________fill in the blank.

  You are all truly gifted in your ability to bring life to the planet, and you are to be commended for your ability to nuture, mother, caretake......we men as well your children and for that we men are truly grateful.

  I won't debate as to who is the strongest as we all carry our unique strengths, but if I had to choose the person most associated with enduring pain and who I could be...I would not chooose to be a woman.

  Hats Off in the House !!!

  call me crazy or what, but theres a recurring issue that i have regarding my son's wish to wear his hat in the house.

  i've never been certain regarding the reason men were to remove their hats when petitioning the almighty, the issue of headship and being respectful of it and the common custom in the west for a man to remove the hat upon entering one's home or church.

  even in the military during basic training, the issue with regard to hats was a predominating theme, to the degree that we were taught that at the instant your head was no longer covered by a building of some sort, your hat was to be immediately placed upon your head, but once open sky no longer covered your head and you walked into a building of any type, that hat was to be removed !!

  Those born in the 30's 40's & 50's may truly be able to relate to the removal of one's hat as being a common courtesy, sign of respect as well as good manners a male was expected to perform when residing in someone's home.

  Though I've never fully understood the absolute signifigance of this custom, it's one that I have kept to out of tradition. I, however, would feel much better being able to help him understand all the intricacies of such same practice, if only I understood the reasons I even practice it myself!!!

  As it stands now, I'm being viewed not as someone of understanding but one who being picky, controlling and real prick!!! .

  Can anyone give me clarification on this tradition so that I can better understand myself, as I try to help him understand that I'm not a prick but only following in the ways and traditions that have laid out before me?

  Nancy, at least Bf keeps his $$$ in his pocket and I as well am getting a little sick of the release date changing constantly. Great to see a woman who enjoys the Need 4 Speed. Do you run a manual or automatic? What's one of your favorite cars? Mines is the Mustang Cobra SVT.

  HI Lostinreality. Glad to see folx interested in my favorite game. Not familiar with halflife, though I have tried my hand at a demo of Kill Zone, very realistic 1st person shooter game. Lately I've had a hand at a very realistic flying/war game Ace Combat 04 Shattered Skies. It was a greatest hits issue for $19.99 so I kinda' figured, what the hey, I've always wanted the Microsoft Flying Simulator but figured for $20.00 I'll give this a shot.

  Is it better to bottle up your feelings?

  do you ever have feelings you wish you didn't have?

  people always say you shouldn't bottle up your emotions, that it's not healthy.. but if you think it's wrong to feel a certain way...(ex.

  jealous, anxious), isn't it better to swallow it into your stomach so no one gets hurt?

  Now I know that we men aren't supposed to feel, at least not the real menz, I agree, however that it be important to go with that gut feeling, I too have paid a huge cost for not going with my gut.

  Some uncomfortable feelings, however, may take time to get over. I have a huge issue looming over my life in the area of forgivness. An issue that transpired over a false accusation against me, drummed up merely for the accuser to win people to her side has had me reeling in anger for about 4 years now, eventhough I had tried to bury the proverbial hatchet and after doing so, the accuser only returns to attack again.

  Forgiveness may take time. But if you have a problem with someone in that area, you may just have to thru those unsettling moments in your life.
