I got an invitation to 20 years after school - and what should i write in CV? I was caught in a cult for 14 years?
But that's life! That is why i am now what i am.

This is not the dumbest but it happend just a few days ago. Investigating elders came to me and whith a smile in his face he "guessed" a DF thing done by me and said afterwards "You know - Heaven sees all" (should be "Big Brother is watching you")

1. ?Enquete-Komission? what does the term ?Enquete? mean in English? 2. Do you know if the other organizations were NGOs?
3. You said the ?JWs had no success?, what were they trying to accomplish?
4. Were the organizations ?demanded? to respond or was this something that was voluntary?I don't know the english term for "Enquete" but it is an governmental initialized group for research. This whole thing had to do - i think - with the "international year of volunteers" and germany made this report to show whats going on in this country. So they asked a lot of organizations incl. WTS for their input. The purpose is as usual: showing we are just a normal religion and do care about our neighbors. Besides there is an upcoming Court decision to give the german branch the same rights as other standard churches ("Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts"). If the response was demanded - i don't know, at least they had the opportunity to "stand in good light".
If someone understands german: there was a short part on TV yesterday about "KdöR".

It was something with an "Enquete-Komission" here in germany and they asked a lot of organizations. JW had no success because of the exJW at www.infolink-net.de informed them about the real side. The doc you translated is just an official version of the german branch and - of course - has nothing to do with reality. Just think about the HLC which is said to help brothers/sisters with sheperding whilst in hospital: the only goal is to get sure they take no blood; and if this question isn't involved they take no care about you.
Sorry for your hard work in translating but it is just the usual BS from the WTS

Has anyone else asked this question about blood?
by eyeslice innot too long back, when i was an elder still administering the advanced medical directive, i asked a question regarding blood fractions to which i never got a satisfactory answer.
if a brother or a sister agrees to accept blood fractions then we need to be aware that these fractions have come from donated blood, very often not just a single donation but the result of extraction made from multiple donations.
however, if i was found to be a source of a fraction that could save a brother or sister's life could i give blood in order to save them?

I asked the question to the Elder of the hospital liaison commitee
"we do accept blood fraction - why are we not allowed to donate? Or other way round if we are not allowed to donate, why could we accept fractions?" It was something with the isralites being allowed to sell flesh to strangers. But when i mentioned "so we are strangers that receive bloody flesh ..." he had no answer. The problem now - the elder is one of the HLC and doesn't know (cheese and cracker man?)
