Just fight for your changes with reference material. If it gets deleted reinsert it and ask for reasons on the discussion page. It might take some effort but it is possible.

"Jehovahs Witnesses" on Wikipedia the online encyclopedia
by JustTickledPink infor those of you familiar with wikipedia, you can get the answer to almost any question.
it's the greatest online encyclopedia and reference.. for curiosity sake, i looked up "jehovah's witnesses" and came up with this link.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/jehovas_witnesses.
not only does it do a pretty good job of outlining what jws are about, it also mentions they are suffering from a decline in numbers in developed lands.

Are JWs specifically disallowed from celebrating Thanksgiving?
Even in germany, where it is completly different.
But back on the wikipedia article... EVERYONE go OVER there! contribute more to it. Make sure its complete and factual!
Oh yes - don't let the JWs take over the article for PR. And don't forget: wikipedia is in lots of languages (i'm busy with the german)

The Anointed, the Numbers and the GB
by thinker inhave you ever considered the anointed, the number of partakers at the memorial and the governing body together?
if you examine the number of partakers you can clearly see that sometimes the numbers increase.
i asked some jws about this and their reply was, "those are replacements for unfaithful ones".

I think you looked at the wrong column.
The column dosn't matter as before 1935 all at the memorial have been partakers.

(of course before 1935 memorial equals partaker)1925 they had 90,434(!) annointed

does the society really change their publications?
by Cordelia ini just read on another thread about quotes that the society changes the publications sometimes,.
is this true that they print something then in the bound volume or cd rom they change it or take it out??.
does anyone have any proof of this?

More interestingly the english and german edition often contradict each other. The translation takes some time so a comparison of these both reveals a lot about "changing history".
