many brothers own businesses that a greatly supported by witness activities.
when local congregations need some service they will prefer to do business with a jw.
Just a quick search on your local county public records will show the elders with their hand in each other's pockets.
I've never seen so many deed transactions taking place locally.
Crazy part was listening to these millionaires talking about how to live simple and avoid the snare of materialism!

as some of you may know, wife is full in pioneer.
my fade has gone from us fighting.
It's been very difficult between my wife and I over the last 4.5 years.
I left for good in 2013.
I never held back telling her everything I learned.
I was scared I'd lose her and this caused much stress.
We are committed to each other now more than ever, but she still wants to be a JW.
I won't stop her. I remind her that it was the control that finally caught up with me and I would be wrong to attempt controlling her.
I fully agree about mentally preparing for the worst.
I read a topic last night and heard the phrase again this morning from my wife herself. "Having a soft place to land".
Put that in place before you go "full disclosure". That's was my big mistake. I survived it, but it could have been less painful.
so the other day i was walking through the huge local regional outlet shopping mall.
i see this sign "how do deal with anxiety" didn't take very long at all to confirm it was a jw booth.. that sign bothered me.
do jw actually think they have something to say about anxiety?
the internet is the archive for civilization.. watchtower cannot hide it's history.. are we seeing the beginning of a mass exodus out of her?.
thinking of leaving the jws for good is frightening.engaging a quality fade is nerve racking!there can be horrible consequences that can leave one shunned.even the most careful fade can be undone by many means and loved ones.. one must weigh the consequences of leaving with true freedom.yes, that kind.
where you always make the decisions in your own life.. no need to be reckless and wild to destruction.
be like almost everyone else in society that enjoys life to the full and looks out for their fellow.look around you at happy, friendly people in your community.

How can living under mind control be freedom?
could this be a "wake up trigger" question to a nosy elder?.

I listened to the introduction first.
I detected the voice of someone that was forced to do this.
Total lack of interest and sincerity.
This guy is broken. Listen to him.
Something BIG is coming. He sounds defeated.
Where is his jovial, arrogant, judgmental and insulting talk now?

I played live music at an outdoor, community 4th of July celebration today.
I'm sure this is big "no-no", but I must confess, brothers ( gag ). I stood and sang along with the "Star Spangled Banner". Even shed a "secret tear". ( Idolatry? )
Must say, it felt much better than tormenting poor unsuspecting householders with unwanted commentary on how "God's Kingdom" is so much better than the USA...
