Yeah, I had a few problems with posting and thought it was my phone's connection.
I like Ripley but I don't like her that much, lol XD
and my next favourite female protagonist is ellen ripley, played by sigourney weaver.. ripley only just survived in ridley scott's alien (1979).. the sequel, james cameron's aliens (1986), was mostly about ripley overcoming her trauma from the first film.. she also ends up seriously kicking ass.. ripley is probably my favourite protagonist of all time.. the following clip is lovely.
newt calls her mommy 🥰.

ok, so another favourite female protagonist of mine is ellen ripley, played by sigourney weaver.
she just about overcame the xenomorph in ridley scott's alien (1979).
and she spent most of james cameron's aliens (1986) getting over her trauma.. here's some nice footage of newt calling ripley 'mommy' .... https://youtu.be/7fjana93kea.
@Vidiot - not very often.
The Godfather (1972) - The Godfather Part II (1974)
A New Hope (1977) - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Alien (1979) - Aliens (1986)
The Terminator (1984) - Terminator 2 Judgment Day (1991)
^^^ Although with the latter two examples I actually think the first films are better.
yeah, so, another favourite female protagonist of mine is ellen ripley.
she only just about managed to defeat the xenomorph in alien (1979).. james cameron's aliens (1986) is mostly about ripley trying to get over her trauma from the first film.. love this clip of newt calling her mommy 🥰.

please add or correct the following written by helge kare fauskanger.
"for starters, imagine a distinctly insular form of protestant fundamentalism minus the trinity (god and jesus are held to be separate beings, and the holy spirit is god's active power rather than a person).
note: since the witnesses want to think of their faith as something absolutely unique, they themselves will not agree that they are either protestant or fundamentalist.. * very important to call god by his proper name of jehovah, and as noted, you must not get him mixed up with jesus.
I think Helge Kåre Fauskanger has pretty much nailed it. 👍
I think one thing not mentioned is the preaching work: JWs must do this.

i've already spoken about how big film studios have given us shitty female protagonists such as rey and she-hulk and the like.
and i've also posted stuff about the female protagonists i like.. so, i think it would be good if i devoted an op to each female protagonist that i think is great.. first up, jackie brown, played by pam grier in jackie brown (1997), directed by quentin tarantino.. jackie brown is an ordinary flight stewardess who finds herself caught up between drug smuggler ordell robie and the fbi.. it's a great film.. https://youtu.be/aixayclox7q.
