i certainly hope justice is served in both those cases.. what is easy for people to forget, is just what police officers have to deal with on a regular basis, during their interactions with citizens.. here's a video breaking down one such interaction.. a car owner was driving his car but the tags weren't legally displayed.

Did all of the attending cops not know that cutting off a person's breathing capability such a choke hold or knee against the neck could cause an individual to blackout and possibly die ? - the cops were following local PD procedure at the time.
I certainly can see criminal negligence manslaughter in this incident - yes, me too.
He wasn't strung out high when the arrest took place, that can be confirmed by the video - you can't confirm whether or not someone has drugs in their system by watching a video. A qualified medical person needs to do a blood test.
Someone who is high on fentanyl doesn't act like that - one adverse effect of fentanyl is respiratory depression. In the worst case scenario, if someone ODs on fentanyl they can suffer chemical asphyxia.

Justice served - yeah, maybe. I'm not in possession of all the details of the case, so I can't say for sure. I'll certainly go along with it. I'm not sure Joe Biden believes the guilty verdict was justice, though.

Biden also mentions systemic racism in the US criminal and justice system. Chauvin was fired and arrested immediately after killing Floyd, and was recently found guilty on all counts. I'm not sure systemic racism even exists in American institutions.

Do you understand the type of stop this was? - this was originally a stop to check the vehicle's tags.
Do you understand that these stops must rest on reasonable suspicion the suspect is a dangerous felon? - the stop escalated because of non-compliance on the part of Nazario and confusing orders issued from the cops.
Nazario's non-compliance was bad, and the cops issuing confusing orders was bad.

@PistolPete - the guy in your video (Alex O'Connor) is an intelligent guy, but on the subject of Veganism he's an extremist.

That goes without saying after the fact - yeah, it often isn't said, lol.
As I mentioned early Floyd has to bare some responsibility for what happened to him - so, yeah, Floyd should have gotten in the cop car, even though most media didn't say this.
Bottom line: citizens - comply with the cops.
Police officers while on duty have to have the cognitive awareness to be in control of a situation - agree. Chauvin could have stopped kneeling on Floyd once Floyd was on the floor, unarmed, and cuffed. <--- But how was this murder beyond reasonable doubt? (manslaughter - yes … but murder?)
