I've just watched the whole vid - I didn't want to but I felt I had to because I'd already made negative comments about him and he does deserve a chance to speak.

And the video is just a self-serving exercise. Lloyd Evans feels he is a victim of the WTS and is pinning the blame on them for his choice to cheat on his wife repeatedly with prostitutes.

He has form on not taking responsibility for his actions - just look at his behaviour over the whole AAWA thing.

The real victims in all this are his wife and kids.

Often when I hear of people's sleaze, I break into laughter. But the thought of his wife and kids is kinda stopping me here.

Nothing wrong with seeing prostitutes if that's your thing - it's illegal.

Even in places where it's become legalised, it's still exploiting women and rent boys, etc.

Lloyd Evans comes across as a bit unhinged.

For him to pose as an activist, he needs to be cleaner than a nun's knickers, otherwise his position becomes ridiculous, as seems the case here.

Cheating on his wife with prostitutes is a low-life thing to do.

I didn’t say anything about China being better - correct, you were gloating that the US is no longer the world's policeman whilst taking your eye off of the bad things China gets up to.

China has also stolen an entire country - Tibet - from the Tibetans.

It also cracks down on Honk Kong protestors with a fair degree of ruthlessness.

And then there's its disgusting mistreatment of Uyghur people in Xinjiang, formerly East Turkestan.

i had an aunt that had rheumatic fever as a child and only had an iq the high 70's.

but, absolutely no one was able to bs her on an emotional level.

she had an uncanny ability to see through people's bs.

IQ is a fairly reliable measure of intellect, but I don't think it indicates emotional intelligence.

However, there is a strong correlation between IQ and employment prospects and achievement.

There is one particularly sensitive area of IQ - that of IQ and race.

It seems that mean IQ does indeed vary according to ethnic group.

For instance, take Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews. Both groups have a high mean IQ (110-115), plus they tend to earn more money that whites, Hispanics, native Americans or blacks.

Edit - I don't know what my IQ score is. I strongly suspect I'm no genius. Of course, IQ isn't everything. There's no substitute for hard work and punctuality. I got a first class degree only because I worked hard.

It would be nice if the United States had historically similarly affirmed sovereignty in Latin America: Venezuela, Chile, and Cuba - it would be nice, but the urgent issue here is that Russia has amassed 120,000 soldiers and plenty of military hardware on Ukraine's border.

so, i bought lynch's final film inland empire (2006) a few weeks ago.

it's a very interesting movie.

there's lots about it i like, and stuff i don't like.. for starters, it's runtime 180 mins.

So, I bought Lynch's final film Inland Empire (2006) a few weeks ago.

It's a very interesting movie. There's lots about it I like, and stuff I don't like.

For starters, it's runtime 180 mins. That's 3 hours, lol. There is surely some stuff that could be trimmed from it. In particular I'm thinking about 4 or 5 scenes featuring anthropomorphic rabbits - people in rabbit costumes - that has nothing to do with the plot, as far as I can work out.. They say kinda arbitrary lines that sometimes don't even naturally follow each other, and one rabbit's lines typically has canned laughter. I'm a Lynch fan, but even I rolled my eyes at this.

But I love the way this film makes me feel. I often have anxiety dreams - one that keeps repeating itself is me, as a college/uni student, and I'm worrying about handing assignments in on time or I'm behind the rest of the class. It's silly really because I did well at uni. And this film kinda made me feel a bit like that, and when it ended I kinda relaxed and realised it's just a film, like when I wake up from by sleep.

I also think Laura Dern's performance is fantastic - she plays an actress called Nikki Grace who wins the part of Susan Blue in a fictional film called On High In Blue Tomorrows, so she has to play two parts, essentially. She should have won some kind of award for it, I think.

Vladimir Putin is a dangerous guy - a strongman who stole Crimea and invaded Donbas, Ukraine in 2014.

He's currently demanding that an independent sovereign country, Ukraine, not join NATO.

Well, Putin can fuck right off with that nonsense.

Let Ukraine decide for themselves if they want to be part of NATO or not.

Don't invade Ukraine, Putin, you c**t.
