  when i was a kid we had a kh with a basement and this guy joe winestien lived in it.

  he has passed away i believe.

  he was about 24 and used to hang around the young boys.

  We had a guy a couple of years younger than me who was very effeminate.

  Just listening to him speak and observing his mannerisms, you'd at least ask yourself, is this guy gay?

  I don't know if he was or not ... perhaps he was bisexual?

  I just don't know.

  He was a nice guy, generally speaking. And he *was* included in congregation stuff, from what I remember.

  He could be a bit pissy sometimes. I'll give you an example: we were all invited out to dinner to an Indian restaurant. Generally speaking, we all had a good time. But we all had had a few drinks, and for one reason or another this guy put some salt or pepper in my hair. Can't remember why or what started it, maybe he was just having a laugh. So, I kinda laughed along with it, then 10 minutes later I put some salt in his hair. Give as good as you get, right?

  And then this guy went ballistic. Because I did the same to him!

  Anyway, he was a nice guy. I wonder what happened to him. Maybe he left the WTS and is now living with his husband, who knows?

  today people are are paying and cheering to see a man knocking the shit out of a woman.

  what feminists, social warriors, and gender recognition fighters don't realized is that their actions are actually causing the world to revert back to the days when the world treated women as property, second class species, with no rights whatsoever, whose only value was a sex instrument for the male species.

  doesn't taking estrogen injections feminize the bodies of those born male - to a certain extent, yes.

  But it's not as simple as this.

  Trans activists are now claiming that self ID'ing is enough - some bloke with a five o' clock shadow and 10 inches swinging about between his hind legs can just put up his hand and say the magic words, 'I'm a woman' and activists say he should be allowed to compete in women's sports and piss in ladies' toilets.

  @Disillusioned JW - you seem to be willing to ignore the fact that biological males have greater mean bone density.

  This is very important in violent sports, such as boxing, cage fighting, MMA, karate, rugby, etc.

  If a trans-woman (born biological male) undergoes a sex change and injects herself with hormones, she still has the advantage of denser bones because she had the advantage of going through male puberty.

  Here's the bottom line - if there are no difference between the sexes, why not just have unisex competitions in sport?

  Y'know, Novak Djokovic could face off over 5 sets against Serena Williams. Sounds great.

  This trans-woman was born a biological male and went through male puberty.

  And here's the kicker: biological males have greater mean muscle mass, greater mean upper body strength, denser (and therefore stronger) bones, more testosterone, heal from injuries quicker, etc.

  And it's just not fair for biological males to be competing against biological females - especially in contact sports.

  In fact, it's more than unfair - it's f**king sick.

  Left-wingers are so screwed up on this issue they can't see how sick it is.

  But to everyone else, it's sick.

  My last conversation with a JW

  so, i got to thinking about the last time i spoke to a jw.. i was still living down south, june or july 2012.. and i saw this brother in my local high street.

  he was a few years younger than me - in his late teens and my early twenties we used to go out to pubs and get smashed.

  now this guy starts acting super spiritual - he sees me and after exchanging pleasantries he starts going on about armageddon and how the end is so close.

  So, I got to thinking about the last time I spoke to a JW.

  I was still living down south, June or July 2012.

  And I saw this brother in my local high street. He was a few years younger than me - in his late teens and my early twenties we used to go out to pubs and get smashed. Now this guy starts acting super spiritual - he sees me and after exchanging pleasantries he starts going on about Armageddon and how the end is so close. In 2012. I said that I was starting uni in September and would be moving up to Bolton.

  Then he said have I thought about cancelling it because the end could come before I even graduate.

  I was already lurking here on this site but I thought I'd play him at his own game. I said that maybe the end will come after I graduate, maybe the end won't even come in my lifetime. Nobody knows the exact date, right?

  I made the point that if nobody knows the time, then how come you're saying it's sooo close?

  We kinda went round in circles after that and the conversation ended, and we said goodbye. And that was that.

  I'm so glad I didn't listen to his crap. I got my degree.

  Do you remember the last conversation you had with a JW?

  Was it as retarded as mine or was it a bit more intelligent? lol

  Congratulations, Emma Raducanu!

  congratulations to ms raducanu, from orpington, kent (my hometown).. she has just won the us open on saturday.

  i don't have a tv license or a tv, but i did manage to see the final in my local pub.

  and the two finalists didn't disappoint - it was a cracking match with a high level of tennis.. and raducanu triumphed 6-4, 6-3. her achievement is pretty much unprecedented.

  let's not have her as a reason to throw the doors open to illegal fighting age men arriving on the beaches - I quite agree.

  Raducanu is an example of good immigration - her parents came here legally, got good jobs, obey the law and pay their taxes. They brought up a talented, well-adjusted daughter who now has a stellar career ahead of her.

  There is simply no comparison between the Raducanus and the morons in the rubber dinghies who wash ashore at Dover or Folkstone.

  1995 generation change

  now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.

  it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.

  with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

  She has just won the US Open on Saturday. I don't have a TV license or a TV, but I did manage to see the final in my local pub. And the two finalists didn't disappoint - it was a cracking match with a high level of tennis.

  And Raducanu triumphed 6-4, 6-3. Her achievement is pretty much unprecedented. She is the only tennis player of the Open era, male or female, to qualify for a slam and then go on and win that slam. She won 10 matches in a row, without dropping a single set. That's pretty f**king awesome, excuse my French.

  I'd like to see how she deals with expectation in next year's US Open, but she seems to have a sensible head on her shoulders so I expect her to compete in future grand slam finals.

  She will in all likelihood be around for many years to come.

  She could be the future of women's tennis.
