i haven’t posted in awhile.
my wife asked me after the year 2000 came and went without fanfare(because the wt organization said all the “new world” would be here within this 20th century would end), “ what would it take for you to leave the truth?”.
my reply was “ if i turn 60 in this “system of things”.
Well done, Mr and Mrs Jack.
Best wishes

i don't know if this topic has been covered before - it might 've been.. i also recommend flipper's excellent music thread ('what songs have you been listening to?
', or similar).. but, i'd just like to start a thread about certain songs giving me goosebumps.
y'know, when you hear a song that profoundly effects you in some difficult-to-describe way and the hairs on your arm stand on end even though the room temperature's comfortably warm.. so, which songs give you goosebumps?.
And, of course, this song featuring The Queen of Soul gives me goosebumps.

it's a guardian article, so it's well worth looking at a few of the below-the-line comments.
xd.
@Earnest - it would be profoundly undemocratic to allow the tiny populations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to override the rest of the UK.

this was a comment from the meeting(tm) on sunday.. the person that told me about it, is very confused about the validity of the corporation.
somewhere between a pimo and a pimi-lite.
the thing that angered me was that this person has cancer.
Just look at this face ...
Who could speak against this guy?
i found out just last night that back in 2015 scientists discovered a piece of amber estimated to be over 15 million years old.
inside the amber was a flea, very similar to the size and kind that attack and eat our blood today.
whats even more astonishing is in the mouth they found bacteria that has the same make up as bubonic plague.
...so he's being cut from the the programme.

the following is an extract from an article i wrote when i left the watchtower 25 years ago.
it may be helpful in reasoning with a jw about the anointed/great crowd distinction.. --------------------------------.
to divide people into those with a heavenly hope and those with an earthly one is not a biblical concept.
The ressurected Jesus need not defecate - but the pre-resurrected Jesus had to defecate, right?
Jesus was flesh and blood. Mary gave birth to him via her vagina, in the same way all other humans are born.
it brings to mind my niece when she see`s how dry the countryside is ,how armageddon must be so close..
The following is a good video examining the current bush fire crisis and comparing that to previous bush fire seasons ...

i so seldom seek to sit inside an actual movie theater anymore.however ...some films are absolutely tailored for it.life of pigravityavatar3 examples of movies which do not translate to your home viewing...at all.good, bad, or indifferent - some films are visual and immersive.. here is a sacred pronouncement:movies are a visual medium.in the hands of an orson welles (i.e.

LUHE , I hope you wont be disapointed in "lighthouse" I panned it but my son loved it ? I cant understand it - I don't think the film is for everybody. It may be that I won't like it, I don't know for sure. But I liked Robert Eggers's previous effort, The Witch (2015). I'm definitely gonna buy it on DVD.
