  here is an idea i tested.

  works at both assemblies and conventions.

  i have noticed at the last convention and at my last assembly that when i opened up my wifi setting, tons of hotspots came up for people tethering their tablets to their smart phones.

  No, but I will.

  I ssh from a burner phone that I flashed with CyanogenMod. That way I can dump both the Box and the burner phone easily. Throw them in the trash and walk away.

  I can set the device to cycle on and off randomly (chron job). I can turn it on and off remotely as well (ssh into it from command prompt on my phone). I can slip it into my suit pocket and flip the switch on/of manually.

  Yearbook - will they drop figures that show a decline?

  Yes. I think they will give "Highlights" and not publish the actual reports. Who knows? Maybe we've already gotten the last one!

  Did Ray Franz manage to live out a comfortable retirement from the proceeds of his books.

  i'm just curious if anybody knows.

  firstly i don't take issue with the man making money from his books and if he was able to live comfortably from it then i say power to him.

  but what i'm wanting to know was just how successful was it and did it allow him to live out the remainder of his years in comfort e.g buy a house, eat good food etc.

  yes, last week the number of bethel layoffs was confirmed from 90 to 125. .

  and those going in thinking they may be there for some time have been told.

  that they may be there for two months rather than 3 years depending on .
