  How to survive an assembly

  hey i was just wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to keep my brain occupied while i'm at an assembly tommorow.

  maybe besides tallying the number of times they say jehovah and jesus or counting how many people are wearing red.

  i want to keep myself from going insane or having some kind of panic attack lol.

  yo just listen more to the bullcrap. Its really funny at times. A real comedy show......... to tell you the truth I listen more than I did as an elder. Some of things they say is laughable. Some stuff not so funny,But You also have to listen to the things NOT said,thats interesting. Lucky for me though our assembly hall is right smack in the middle of a shopping area, one of the largest in N.Y. When I get bored I tell my wife Ill be back and go shopping. When I get back she usually sleeping. That's funny.

  so what are some of the bold outright lies the borg has told, past and present and can you prove it.

  for example, at this district assembly they released a video that showed (the trailer) if you married an unbeliever your marriage is not going to work.

  Hey yall, This may have been touched on before, but I here a lot about the lies WT has told on this website. So what are some of the Bold outright lies the Borg has told, past and present and can you prove it. For example, At this District assembly they released a video that showed (the trailer) if you married an unbeliever your marriage is not going to work. THAT is simply not true, a BOLD FACE LIE. People were clammering to get this video. I told my wife I did not want one. (she scoffed at me) I can name at least three couples that married out the (truth?) and are doing well. Futher How does that make a husband or wife who has an unbelieving mate already feel? I think that is a bold face lie.

  I mean before the this paragraph came up they were all about commenting on how a lion shows no mercy or compassion, emotion for its prey. Then turn the page and we have a lion cracking up. WTF is going on. oh the Lion has jokes.

  Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...

  greetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.

  and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.

  but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

  Armeggedon did come it was invisible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at that time I was a19yr old MS chasing these beautiful horney or should I say those wanting to get married sisters. 1975 I was having a ball. It Flew right over my head. In fact 1976 was my best year. dating three sisters at one time. I remember being over this one sister(regular pioneer) place. We were making out hot, WHEN two of her pioneer partners stopped by, they knew she was home cause they had just talked to her on the phone. Told her don't even answer the door. She panicked. straighted up real fast answerd the door, but forgot to comb her hair. These sisters were staring at her hair the whole time in disbelief, then glance over at me.( A MS and regular pioneer) We laugh about that even today when I see her. Guess what she still pioneering!!

  i was a junior borgite in 1975. i remeber looking at the calendar at work in october and thinking: 'armageddon isn't here yet.....and it doesn't feel like it will be here anytime soon either!'.

  i was surprised that jehovah hadn't obeyed the superior command to bring the big 'a' as instructed to him by fred franz.

  how dare god disobey the jw leader!!!!!.

It flew right over my head. 1976 was my favorite year. Was dating three sisters at one time. One pioneer sister, she was the horniest of them all. She had her own place. I was there at least twice a week. One day we were making out hot, when two of her pioneer partners stopped by. Told her not to answer the door. but they knew she was there, Tried to straighten up real quick. But forgot to straighten out her hair, it was all over the place. They were staring at her in disbelief the hold time. We laugh about that when I see her today. guess what she still pioneering

  just by looking at this image we can see how quickly the barrier between the congregation and former member is put up, after the announcement that this sister is no longer one of jehovah's witneses.

  I wont be attending this meeting. I have a sister that's disffellowed shipped and the elders cant see that she is mentally challenged and she diabled been in that state for 20yrs. Nobodys really trying to help. This is a sick presentation that should be taken out of a fiction movie disscusting

  i have a pretty good intuition but i have to admit i am going back and forth on the jw tv may broadcast.

  i keep asking myself are they really in financial trouble (wishful thinking) or are they just grabbing for more money?.

  i always appreciate reading everyone's thoughts and ideas on here.. let me know what you think.
