Strange situation
by Gorbatchov inhi folks,.
the rank and file is now in a strange situation.. it is clear that the jw leadership is in for a huge change.
the type / anti type change makes clear that they make a u-turn.. it's clear that with this changes the current doctrine are temporary.

Ocean1111:
I liked your OP (not interested so much in your 2nd)
IMO, the GB are well aware of the real truth.
But, there must be a significant number of the Writing Committee who know that it's all BS.
All of the above must have some sort of Parachute Agreement to escape with a retirement amount.
I previously posted the Canadian tax filings. That money is going somewhere.

Who cares?
Seriously.
If you believe in God as a Father, he doesn't give a @#$% about how various ideoligies define him/her.
He's your bloody Father.
How humans define him/her is completely irrelevant.

The org uses "Emotional entrapment and manipulation" rather than factual substance....
by stuckinarut2 inhave you noticed just how much the org is now appealing to "emotions" rather than facts?.
we used to be told that worshiping god has an element of emotion involved of course, but that the primary motivation should be logical truth.
now though, they seem to be highlighting the "fluff" rather than the substance!.

Doesn't Romans 12:2 tell witnesses to "prove" the truth to themselves?
One of my favourite scriptures. Used to use it often in service. Wish my family would apply it to themselves.
I think in the last 5 years or so, there has been a very tangible change. The ORG is being forced by time to appeal to emotion even more. There is NOTHING logical left, at least not for those who know TTATT.
They KNOWthey're wrong, and that they haven't a clue what to teach anymore. That being the case, how else can you keep people in?

I was looking for Thy Kingdom Come to show my family about Russell's Pyramidology.
A sister in my city had an ad online for them, but it was the BS's reprints - to which I explained to her their source. She seemed disbelieving that they reprint the books (She also had originals, but wasn't selling them).
Question for Jacqueline, what do the current BS's think of 1914 and Pyramidology?

If the “mountains of Israel” apply to the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the kingdom, in what sense had it been “a continual waste?”
In every sense, waste of time, waste of paper, waste of life.
