first it was her mum in hospital, then it was me, just for a night, though i've been ordered to rest and given 6 weeks off work, and now linda (fullofdoubtnow) is ill. she has a really bad bout of flu, which started yesterday, and i expect she'll be in bed for a few days.

i just fed her some soup, which is about all she can manage at the moment, and she's gone back to sleep now.

she sends her love to everyone on the board,i expect she will be posting again in a few days, but for now, she's confined to bed..

i got the following message from someone i used to know, on myspace.

he lived down the road from my family.

he's still a jw.

I think someone should photocopy his myspace page and send it to his local elders.

This person can't be a JW, if he is, a double lifer I see!

i never knew this...just found it today.

made me giggle.. payment of sales tax on literatureon 17 january1990 the u.s. supreme court made a ruling that sales tax must be paid on religious literature.

the following month, a letter from the watchtower society went out to all congregations stating that there would no longer be a set price for literature but that they would be given to the public on a donation basis.

Another proof that the JW's don't follow the Bible.

Should Uninvited D to D Work of Jehovah's Witnesses be against the Law?

i agree that everyone should have the right to practice thier own religion, as long as it doesn't interfere with another person right to privacy and right to not be harassed in their own home by those who feel they have the better religion.. the door to door work of jws is harassment, when you consider that they call for the most part in the morning, univited to talk about why there religion is the right one and often have very bad things to say about other belief systems, which has the potential of disturbing the peace.

Since there are "protected pedophiles"...I think the d to d should be banned.

I wish there was a way of informing and convincing our government of those "protected pedophiles" and thus make it an endangerment to the citizens of the USA to allow the d to d.

Any ideas how to effectively do this?
