i have been fading for over 2 yrs and recently visited my folks.

I'm not so sure that unfairness comes into the equation of "love".
no it doesn't come from love it comes from the one who got too much without giving as much and then don't reliase that it's unfair and can lead to the feeling of things being granted ... and in this matter the one who gives too much is somehow responsible of the mess ... (LOL) you know it's like saying if my son is a MotherF... There no reason to give him more than he deserves ... and somehow how long can we love a MotherF... ? unconditionnal love yes but still it doesn't have to be given in a dumb way ! ... (find a way to put the kid back on the right track even if it's in a harsh way - not showing love for instance for a while - is a form of love just an other way to help him and ourselves).
I would like to think that "love" is given with abandon, however there's also a cost attached to giving oneself completely, like that. How many can truly pay the price? Maybe in the short-term, where lust is involved, but the long-term?
Sadly it so often degrades into something less than "love".
Right - not that easy anyway ... Also love is not given with abandon if you have a personnal reason to (if not related to love itself)
it's not about the price only for ourself ... maybe we should always see way over that (ourself) it's about in fact the price for everybody ... cause once one feel like some things are granted and that they can get love or anything actually easely (for nothing or a little) they will just try to get it easely with anybody (as they can't or don't feel like to give) ...

am i to expect with all the adjustments regarding new rulings of da'd & df'd all falling within the same category that there is to be a cleaning house of the ones who are inactive and are no longer meeting attenders.
i just got a knock on my door from a brother who's been trying to get me to activate my study and go back to the hall, though this time he seemed to have a new urgency about the situation.
is there something going on that i should be concerned about?

I mean we still need a balance in giving more than deserved even because of love (unconditionnal yes - but no missdistribution) at least not tooo much ... (what is the message to the other one if we do or if we do not ... not sure it helps anyone)

I would suggest that the more we give, the more we empower others...
(that isn't necessarily a bad thing, however I do believe it's a reality)
I'm ok with that ...
but actually we could be back on : Giving credit were credit is due ... not more not less ... now of course love allow to give way more (but I'm not sure that giving more than deserved can lead to something else than unfairness at the end and missunderstanding and missleading in balance) not sure I've been clear here ...
my poor jw girlfriend is in the hospital with some seizures and other related neurological problems.
she is heavily sedated, partially restrained, is generally "out of it", has no attention-span and her short-term memory is about 1-2 minutes sometimes.. now, much to their credit, some from her congregation and even an older elder (is that redundant?
) which, from the horror stories i've read here makes him an exception, visit regularly.
Can they really be expecting her to read these things? Is it just a reflex to place literature? It baffles me. Are they placing for someone else to take the literature? I see mags in the waiting room for that. But in this woman's room? Jeez, why?
they just can't stop doing those stuffs for any reason you can find, and anyway they don't even realised how much odd it is (in her situation, and most of the time to place JW magazines, magazines, magazines) ... so
