I wasn't even my choice...should it count?

    I think the best thing you can do for yourself is stop doing the "could of, should of, what if" game. There are no "what ifs" in life.

    I also wish I hadn't gotten baptized at 11 yoa to please my mother but whats done is done. I've now accepted that it's in the past and work towards what I can in the present and in the future.

    But know for sure it's not your fault, the fault lies in the organization and in the followers who blindly reject their families in support of a publishing company.

    I agree that I should try not to live in the past. And as soon as I have this all behind me and it is in the past, I'll certainly do that. Unfortunately, for me (and I'm sure many others) I'm still living it. So until I figure out and get a hold of the past and truly understand where I've been, I cannot possibly begin to patch up the present and begin to prepare and work towards the future.
