Honestly Misses Jones, when I sit back and think of our lives in the 70's and 80's era, the plaids, polyesters that had to die in order for us to wear our clothes that we simply relished in, our huge afros, the bell bottoms, and that Gawd Awful Bee Gees music from the eighties....It was the drugs, right? It must've been the drugs.
I listen to the oldies on Sunday and now that the music I listened in my younger years is now regarded as oldies, I listen and almost laugh at how infatile much of it was.
The Jimmy Castor Bunch / Bertha Butt Boogie, Johnny Terrio or whatever his name was, from Saturday Night Fever. It was all such a surreal time. Amazing almost that we even lived through those things.
