Living a sermon means more than giving a sermon.

How much control do we have over anybody, including ourselves?

Loving them despite their parents is what I do to my sibling's kids. His wife is an A plus snob and and I have learned to ignore it.

When I spoke with my wife's aunt (a successfully faded JW) about my doubts and wanted to tell my wife (her niece) she told me, "Well I am happy to hear it, and regardless of what religion you are I love you both anyways. Even if you eventually decide you wanted to go back, I would still love you both very much."

She said something similar to my wife when my wife started talking to her about it. It meant a lot to my wife to hear that.

All the advice given points to showing love rather than doctrine. This makes good sense.
I have noticed with my wife and daughter that the less I talk religion and the more I go about enjoying my new life the more they respect my decision to leave the Org and the less meetings they are going to themselves.
