i've been reading a lot of new orleans area message boards and more and more i'm reading angry posts about the lack of pictures of st bernard parish in particular but the overall censorship of photographs.
anyone heard anything?
opinons on if censorship is a violation of freedom of the press?
i know no one wants to see dead bodies floating around..........wait..let me ammend that, most people dont want to see that, people from that area are desperate to search as many pictures as they can see to see if they can find loved ones even if they are dead.
warnings about graphic pictures could be posted and it could be a CHOICE if you view them or not.
are more pictures of the affected areas being shown in international press than the american press? anyone know?
even the NOAA website with satelite imagery doesnt show the st bernard parish area from the past couple days. it shows the other areas but not that one. also areas of the other photos are blurred.
just an issue i thought about tonight.. bringing it up for discussion.
