Well I knew it was only a matter of time, but the "play the race card" has begun. Never mind that the incompetant Mayor of New Orleans is black. It's not his fault. NOooo!!!. It's not like he could have placed all the people who couldn't leave on the school districts buses that are now all flooded under water. NOoo!!!
Mayor Ray Nagin, you are no Rudolf Giuliani by any stretch of the imagination.

This is typical of JJ. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago during the time he was starting to become a "name".
If he's actually done some good for somebody other than himself, then more power to him, but most of the time it appears as though he's a rampant publicity hound.
For a long time I thought that people like Jesse Jackson, "leaders" who play upon people's fear, were just annoying. Jackson is now much more then that. He's adding fuel to the fire. It's just like 50 years ago when some white, racist, grand wizard piece of crap from the KKK would stir things up by preaching about the "dangers" of black people. When is someone in the media going to tell this dude to shut the f*ck up.
Here is what the mayor of New Orleans could have used to evacuate the city who didn't have transportation. Shame on you Mayor, for not doing more for you city or for you people. And Shame on you Jackson. You may have just started a race war in this country.
That is typical Jesse Jackson but I heard the mayor of NO speak and although he was very understandably upset about the situation and may regret some of his comments but in all fairness through his 12 minute interview I never heard him once through in the race card.

Oh, I don't know, there probably is a lot of supporting data that could make his claim into a viable case. Even without thinking about it, I can think of a couple of reasons this could be alleged. Especially the slow response of the federal government could be viewed by some as. . .
Well, I'm deeply gratified that my take on the JJ thing on the news tonite was in concurrance with y'all. Racial issues are pure nitroglycerin.........your best bet is to run far and fast away from making ANY comment at all, as it will be construed as racist, no matter what it is.
