Looks like this one will test the theory of whether or not New Orleans can survive a direct hit from a hurricaine. Of course, I hope the theory is wrong. But I'm very afraid it's not.
They have no doubt now. New Orleans will not survive. Some parts of the city will have 35 feet of water. It may take months to get the electicity back up. We may be in Houston for some time.

Seriously, I was thinking the same thing, but the radioactive fallout would be a problem, so that's why they probably wouldn't do it, even with a smaller tactical nuclear device.
Too bad they can't find some way to disippate these kind of storms.
