A few months ago I made a post about my office needing to hire a Junior Web Developer. We did hire someone but now we are needing yet another developer! (Business is good)

We are a "Microsoft Shop" and primarily use MS development tools and languages such as Visual Studio .Net, C#, SQL 2000, Windows 2003 Server, Classic ASP and JavaScript.

We are looking for a Junior or Advanced developer, not necessarily a Senior developer. Basically we need someone who has the basics and theory down so we can take him and mold him into what we need (or Her ).

The position will be in a Downtown Dallas office building.

Please post or PM me if you are interested.

I wanted to post about some of the benefits we have here:

    • Health Insurance
    • Dental
    • 8 Paid Holidays and 20 "Personal" days that can be used for vacation, sick, or whatever you want.
    • Life Insurance
    • Short Term disability
    • Long Term disability
    • 401K + matching
    • Pension (Yes, both a 401K and Pension together)

I'm sure there is more that I am just not remembering.

The work environment is very pleasant. Everyone is friendly and there is no "tit-for-tat" grudges between people like you see in many offices. We all get along very well with very little stress. Our manager/supervisor is also great. He has very good leadership skills and very good technical skills (very hard to find both in IT managers).

We are always encouraged to learn more and take on more responsibilities. The company also has a very good budget to pay for training courses every year.

Another thing... the network here is specifically designed to allow remote access because of the nature of the business, so we also have the option to work from home one day a week if we want. (Some of the more senior people work more days from home)

Sounds like a dream job. Do I have to know anything about computers?

Elsewhere If you hire a DUB you could save on the paid holidays. I'm sure they would not accept money for not working. I worked in a grocery

store. The manager loved dubs. They all worked holidays. HL

My husband has just about all the qualifications that you want - but he's in California.

I'm going to explain to him that he's willing to relocate.

Would you settle for a well developed junior in advanced classes with webbed feet?
