Wow, only just noticed these replies...

HorribleLife, it will be on and around the 5th November if Sparky's date is correct. As for where, that is yet to be figured. Usually there are a couple of different events over a couple of days, but it will all be in the vicinity of Dallas. :)

FMZ-I told the president of out Club for my job...about K...and she maid me chairperson for the event. http://main.diabetes.org/site/TRC/927298397?pg=center&fr_id=2878 I have not gone there yet, but The Nov, 5th is Diabetes Walk, We are the SBC Pioneers. There is a place to sign up on the SBC Pioneers team. They let you make a website and pay online if you have people that will sponsor you.

If you want to sign up under my name and that will help...me. Oh by the way, you can make a donation there.

It is very easy. If you like look it up and I will make sure to get my name on there for the SBC Pioneers. also, If you send your number I will try to call you this week and let you know a way that we raised a ton via our friend that has a small child who walked with us...

Also, This means I have to organize our volunteers. I've never done anything this large before and I am a bit nervous. Last year we raised so much in just 2 weeks. So this year with such advanced notice. I also have been told to organize 2 employee teams and get a competition going amongst workmates. You should bring your friend and tk. with. There are kids that do the walk to. We all have kids here so it is a kid friendly enviro...

I am certainly interested in hearing how you guys raised money for the ADA. I have never done anything like this before, so it will be all new to me. Any hints would be appreciated... heh :P
