It needs to be small enough for college, burn CDs, play guild wars(im not for sure on this one, but just incase, i usually play games when im feelin lonely), wireless internet, and anything that would be a necessity. I plan to carry it to class and take notes on it and use it wherever I go.

Apple's are good. They have the G4 powerbook but I'm sure the G5 will be out soon.
But Macs are not so good for gaming from what I here. I'm using a G4 power mac. Good in so many ways but when it comes to things like this forum my options are limited.

I only use Macs....they rock!!! I play Worlds of Warcraft on my macs....it's a litte slower than PC of similar video card but still very playable. Everything else is easier on a Mac however.

The macs are good for most things--video editing, photoshop, graphics and design. They're good for not getting infested with viruses. I know that more stuff is becoming available for macs now but there are still some gaps with gaming and online forums.

you could put it in a packpack...everyone I knew in school had one (undergrad and grad school)
You won't look nerdy, trust me.

    apple.com.
You can order it online or if you have a mac store in your area it might be a couple bucks cheaper. OH, and see if you can order it with a school ID number...chances are your school will be registered with apple. But I'm pretty sure they have to give you a student discount (I've always got one) if you're already enrolled or registered in college. It's not much but it's a couple bucks off.
