Here is a math trick from God. It is so unbelievable that it will stump you. 1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your head) 2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code) 3. Multiply by 80 4. Add 1 5. Multiply by 250 6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number 7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again. 8. Subtract 250 9. Divide number by 2 What number do you get? Cool, eh?

Hell, that's nothing... according to gawd the value to Pi is not 3.14 but is 3.0

And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about. (1 Kings 7:23)

Pi is calculated as the circumference of a circle divided by the diameter. The object described here has a circumference of thirty cubits and a diameter of 10. This means that, according to the infallible word of gawd, the value of Pi is 3.0 instead of 3.14.

Maybe gawd forgot how to do long division when it was telling its prophet what to write in the bible.

Assume your phone number is of the form A + B such that A + B = your phone number, and A = the first three digits in 10-thousands, and B = the last four digits.

(ex: if your number is 555-1212, then
    A = 5,550,000
    and
    B = 1212
    and A+B = 5,551,212 = your phone number

    The instructions given are:

    {[({[(A / 10,000) x 80 ] +1} x250) +2B] -250} / 2

    which reduces to

    {[({(A / 125) +1} x250) +2B] -250} / 2

    which reduces to

    {[(2A +250) +2B] -250} / 2

    which reduces to

    (2A +2B) / 2

    which reduces to

A + B which is the number we started with.

    In other words, A+B = A+B!

P.S. Now, if you had used the dimensions of the Great Pyramid, and showed how it predicts the year 1914, I would have been REALLY impressed! ;)

    Here is why this works:

    2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code)

    3. Multiply by 80 4. Add 1

    (first three digits * 80) + 1

    5. Multiply by 250

    ((first three digits * 80) + 1) * 250
    or
    ((first three digits * 80) * 250) + (1 * 250)
    or
    (first three digits * 20,000) + 250

    6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number

    7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.

    (first three digits * 20,000) + 250 + (last 4 digits * 2)

    8. Subtract 250

    (first three digits * 20,000) + (last 4 digits * 2)

    9. Divide number by 2

    (first three digits * 10,000) + (last 4 digits)

555-1234 would work out like this.

    (555 * 10,000) + 1234
    or
    5,550,000 + 1234
    or
    5,551,234

    Quotes,

A + B which is the number we started with.

    In other words, A+B = A+B!

    So, if A = 555 and B = 1212, then 555 + 1212 = 1,767. Someting is wrong with your solution!

Remember, as Elsewhere said, Gawd thinks Pi is 3.0
