    Satan,

Within an hour after taking 100ml cap I feel the difference. My thinking becomes less rambly, I feel calmer but not drowsy, I have more energy. I don't notice any nausia or anything,,but I definitely feel better. I think it is pretty good,,I sent away forit about 3 weeks ago and just got it last nite in the mail.

    Evil,

Thanks for the advice Doc. Yes I alway read up on these things first. I find a lot of doctors never really spend time warning their patients about side effect and the whys and why nots of how to use certain meds. Dilantin is a pretty safe drug, as long as you take it in reasonable doses(300ml a day). I will try to remember to keep you posted.

BTW did you talk with your associate about these other nootropic drugs,, if so what did he say?

This past week has been my "on call" week. So I've been up to my eyeballs with craziness. This week should be better :)

    How's the drug therepy going?

    Evil,

It will be hard to give you the low down on just the Dilantin since I'm useing a L/S mind tool, taking Piracetam, Hydergine, Choline, Alfa-lipoic and L-carnitine and other things. Also about every couple of weeks or so I have taken Ayahuacsas, (about 4 or 5 times) which have released alot of repressed memories from the unconscious which left me weak but once I start moving and working my power comes back.

In my case I think the severe shock of finding out I was in a cult and then being df'd and having all my family and friend not able to speak to me. This caused me to turn inward trying to understand the pain many feeling started to surface and I some how developed a craving to trancsend the mind and thoughts,,I think the great stress has caused me to start undergoing a shamanic experience, I could be wrong but I'm 90% sure. Do you know anything about shamans or what they have to under go to become shamans?? If you don't I would suggest you learn about it because it is something our species has been doing for 10's of thousands of years it is not "pathological" it is a transformation that happens when we are exposed to great stress or even certain drugs can bring it on (entheogens) if used in certain ways.

Any way I have be going through what has been termed by Christina and Stan Grof as a "spiritual emergency" it happens all the time, to people for a variety of reasons. If you need any more info on it just click on my name and click on "topics" I have started I'm sure you can find out more from my "topics started".

Being that your interest is in the brain I would think you would find this interesting.

Evil, Thanks for the advice. The site I gave for dilantin claims to have no finacial intrest in the drug and supplies documented info which is a important factor. What type of medical experience do you have BTW?

    Evilforce Responds:

I specialize in neurology. Yes I also am a "brain doctor". I guess being a Dub so long I was tired of being "brain dead".
I can't really comment too much on the drugs you listed since I do not specialize in Alzheimer's therepy. My main work is in spinal issues, injuries and degenerative nerve conditions. My associate is our Alzheimer's "go to guy". I'll ask him what he knows. The only thing I can recall with piracetam was for acute stroke and it's treatment. However, I think Alzheimer's will be significantly improved within the next 20 years. So much of brain function has finally been discovered in the past 10 years, that meaningful therepies and clinical studies are being conducted now. The drug companies realize that as the "boomer generation" ages they will want medicinal therepies to combat this illness. This is one of the most dynamic, quickly morphing fields in science today.

This is quite an astonishing claim, Evilforce. By law, when you are giving any medical advice or information as a doctor you are required to provide certain information such as the following:

    • Licensee name
    • License number
    • Date of issue
    • Date of expiration
    • Any Board of Medicine Notice or Order

We would appreciate it if you were forthcoming with this information.

    Sincerely,

    Gavrillo

Sorry, but just to clarify, as I have been reading many of your posts on this forum, and you seem to dole out lots of medical advice under the persona of a licensed doctor. Safety first, you know.

    Sincerely,

    Gavrillo,

Perhaps you didn't notice the dates of the posts on this thread - it 'died' 14 months ago!!!!!

Nevertheless, you are right to pick up on the neurosurgeon claims here. They were shown be to be a hoax.
