hey sad and lonely, I agree: there does seem to be a lot of witness bashing here. Sorry if it's getting to you. I could tell you that the amount of bashing here is nothing compared to the way JWs constantly bash ex-Jws. Yes, I could tell you that, but I suspect you know that already.

I agree that there is always room for more kindness, I call it Christianity, and there are millions who practice that eg following the teachings and example of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. eg displaying Christian love to their enemies (for some this may mean towards people of other religions) Most are perhaps not Jehovah's Witnesses.
I hope you find the right person for you soon, a believer, whatever that means to you, whether he is in the Watchtower Society or a Christian.
