This is for all of you loverly people who responded to my thread wherein I was concerned about my big tomcat, George.

Remember how concerned I was that he kept rolling in the mud, especially in the rain, then traipsing indoors and spreading the mud everywhere? We were all worried that he might have some illness that was causing him to do this?

Well, I now have the answer!

    Here it is:

I'd dug lots of blood, fish & bone into the soil just before Christmas. It's good for the garden, see, feeds the plants, gives 'em lots of potash and other nutrients.

Well, Big George loves the stuff. Her purrs all around the box, pees on it, rubs himself against it, etc etc. He loves the stuff so much that he then digs up the garden where I've applied it and rolls in it. Blood, fish & bone.

    Cats love it!

Funny. Yes, I like to plant flower bulbs in the spring and fall and use bonemeal as food. My cat's try to dig up the bonemeal too.

Maybe we could rip up a large pile of Watchtowers, and mix them in with a bigger pile of horse manure, and have it delivered to Brooklyn when the GB meets. I love the image.

Yes, I do recall that you can't use blood products on your garden. I wonder if you can get DF'd for keeping an apostate flower bed?

Our dog used to love rolling in the sea near the sewage outlet! Sad, smelly thing! We loved her anyway!

My mum refuses to use it on the garden. I did tell her that the blood was going where the bible said it should
back to the earth. I guess her bible twisted logic can't figure that one out though. :)
