What is this awesome cultish phrase meant to signify?
'Make the truth your own!'
I ask this because it has always 'irritated' me when people talk about JW children : 'He's made the truth his own now!'
Always made me want to scream! Does it signify 'Johnny's thoroughly brainwashed now!' Ah, the little darling!
And what about the lyrics to the song:
Make the truth your own, By this world do not be know,
If your body members you control, you make known that the truth is your own!
The way of the truth is the best way of living
