I thought The Elephant Man was a great film too as it's the only one that makes me cry every time I see it. It's the part where he dresses up smart and makes tea and sandwiches for visitors who have just gone to gawp at him. Gets me every time. It wouldn't affect me so much if it wasn't a true story.
