Yes, there's many interesting movies. My taste always returns to 'Gone With The Wind.'
The movie reminds of the struggles in life that we all go through and how we handle the crisis. It also reminds me of how some people can love others but this love is isn't reciprocated in some relationships.

New Worldly Translation
I think my faves are (in no particular order)
Leon - Jean Reno & Natalie Portman were excellent in this
Once Upon a Time In China - The best Jet Li film IMO & arguably the best martial arts film ever
Annie Hall - The film where Woody got his angsty, relationship schtick right
Dumb & Dumber - Just damn funny
The Little Mermaid - Return to form for Disney after a lot of mediocre films. Virtually every Disney film has copied the style afterwards (I also fancied Ariel when I was 13 )
Beautiful Girls - Great ensemble cast and I'm kinda at that age when the themes are relevant.
Heat - Pacino & De Niro, nuff said
Love & Death - Wheat... lots of wheat... fields of wheat... a tremendous amount of wheat...
Akira - I want Kaneda's bike
Memento - Clever film
Blade Runner - Mainly for the visual style of the film
Oh also Life Of Brian & Holy Grail, A Night At The Opera, Duck Soup & A Day At The Races

I put off seeing that film for ages cos I didn't think I would enjoy it. Wow, it was great though! Watched it twice in succession.
Uncle Buck
You have excellent taste y'know. I don't think John Candy ever made a bad film. I love Planes, Trains & Automobiles too. -

Pretty Woman
I knew this one would come up. How could any woman have this one on thier list of favs? I mean it is about a street hooker. Would you want your daughter to have this fantasy of being a hooker then finding prince charming? I never could figuer out why women love this movie.
