I never even read the Awake magazine either---at the end. I know of a family that used to read the chapters religiously. Big show-offs.

It's one of the rare occasions for JWs to actually read the Gospels.
In my last JW year, we had a small group meeting daily to read the prescribed passages and their parallels, using a Gospel synopsis. And we went on after the Memorial (in which two of us partook) with the Gospel endings and the Pauline corpus... We were about halfway into Romans when both of us were df'd. Nice memories to me.

Never. I also never did the weekly Bible reading. But I did study for most of the meetings.

I tried and felt guilty for not succeeding. LOL
I read the Daily Text. 3 or 4 times a year at least!

I did, at least one year that I recall. It actually gave the whole thing some meaning, and as I tried to visualize what Jesus would have gone through, it affected me deeply. If we believe that the whole story is true, it was pretty profound.
Dunno if I believe anymore, though.
