  No, only an idiot would think that. The JW's believe the earth is about 40,000 years old.

  See? Isn't that much more plausible?

  Oooops, my mistake, I meant to say that they believe that life on earth (animals and men) appeared only 6000 years ago....

  Official saying is "thousands of years" which is correct for day=7000 years. But did you ever hear someone saying: "this and that was 250,000 'thousands' of years ago"?
