Servant versus Overseer

They are also called Sheperds. Sheperds oversaw the sheep. They served the sheep by making sure they were safe from danger such as wolves and theives.

Overeers do the same. They protect the flock from things such as ungodly wordly trends and attitudes. They set the example by the way they live, by being hardworking and honest. These same men spend countless hours in preparing the spiritual program to be delivered.

Many of these handle the finances of the congregation, keep track of records, order the literature to be used, make sure the hall is clean for others.

Is it really out of line to either call them an Overseer or a Servant?
