Boxers are okay in the summer, but a big to boxer briefs. Way more confortable. I tried a few pair from Penny's that were made from microfiber and they're much more comfortable than cotton.

button fly boxer briefs are my choice. Since my wife is the only one who ever sees me in them, then it doesn't matter if anyone else thinks they're gay.
