Lost Souls wandering into the underground to be eaten by the Morlocks.

They remind me, or their mentality they have, which I also had at one point, but, I'm reminded of the HG Wells novel ' The Time Machine' where the Eloi wander into the underground when they hear the sound of the air raid siren. It doesn't matter how much you try to shake them, they can't or won't hear you. They only wake up when they choose to wake up.

Sad really. You just have to watch them trundling along, thoughtlessly following all that the great GB tell them to think.

For the majority of the R & F they won't wake up simply because they don't want to or are to afraid of what they've been told about the 'evil apostate class'.

    "the slave says"

    "the Society says"

    "the Society teaches"

Not that the WTS hasn't tried to stop this little "habit" because they are trying to do a little PR in regard to secular governments who feel that JWs don't have a personal choice.

In order to avoid misunderstandings, Jehovah?s Witnesses try to be careful about how they express themselves. Instead of saying, "the Society teaches," many Witnesses prefer to use such expressions as, "the Bible says" or, "I understand the Bible to teach." In this way they emphasize the personal decision that each Witness has made in accepting Bible teachings and also avoid giving the false impression that Witnesses are somehow bound to the dictates of some religious sect. Of course, suggestions as regards terminology should never become a subject of controversy. After all, terminology is of importance only to the extent that it prevents misunderstandings. Christian balance is required. The Bible admonishes us "not to fight about words." (2 Timothy 2:14, 15) The Scriptures also state this principle: "Unless you through the tongue utter speech easily understood, how will it be known what is being spoken?"?1 Corinthians 14:9.

Does the WTS tell people when to go to the restroom?

    *** km 1/01 p. 1 Be a Good Listener ***

Unnecessary trips to the restroom also interfere with their listening.

    *** km 5/83 p. 4 1983 "Kingdom Unity" District Convention ***

Parents who have deep respect for the spiritual food coming from the platform will make every effort to instill this same respect and appreciation in their youngsters. Children can be trained to sit still at home and also through congregation meetings without needlessly going to the restroom.

*** km 9/81 p. 4 Training Children in the Way of Life ***

In order to find an excuse to move around, children occasionally get into the habit of running to the restroom a number of times during the meeting, causing considerable disturbance to others. Yet these same children can play for hours at a time without experiencing any such problem. If parents insist that each of their children use the restroom before the meeting begins, there is usually no real need for them to disturb the meeting a short while later.
