I filed my Federal tax return online for $9.95, and my (IL) State tax return online for free on 01/26.
Got my State refund on 02/03/05 (Direct Deposit), and received my Federal Refund today (Direct Deposit)
Total cost $9.95....Total wait time 14 days.
E-file is the bomb!!!!!

That's correct.
Also, this year is the first year where we are able to deduct the state sales tax from our federal income tax. Most states have been able to deduct their income tax for years.

Excellent! I paid TurboTax $8.95 to use their software but then I was charged another $19.95 to E-File... Total Cost: $29.80.
Damn, I haven't got a return in 15 years.
I finished ours tonight!!
I didn't buy the software, but filed for the 4th year by turbotax online. They had a $10 discount going, so I only paid $9.95. What used to take me 20 hours now takes me only about 3.
Oh, and we have some $$$$$ coming back! Woohoo!
