I've never had a tree, but tonight I helped a friend pull the lights up his 100ft high Canadian redwood, planted by his grandfather over 100 years ago.

It can be seen for miles out to sea and boaties use it to navigate the entrance of the habour over the Xmas period.

Sorry, my digital camera has gone on holiday without me so I can't post a photo.

Awesome decorating everbody. Ohiocowboy, love your location at the bottom of the stairwell. Very traditional.

Here's ours. We decorated it on a Sunday, with the time honoured tradition in our house of watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
