R. FRANZ UNWITTINGLY TELLS THE TRUTH

Raymond Franz unwittingly reveals the truth insofar as the comparability of today’s Jehovah’s Witnesses and those who were true worshipers in Queen Esther’s day.

    Raymond Franz said:

Raymond Franz, a high-ranking Jehovah's Witness who was disfellowshipped and then wrote two books about the inner workings of the faith, said he doesn't believe cases of pedophilia are any more prevalent in the denomination than in others. But the religion's insularity leads to problems, he said. [Insularity defined: Suggestive of the isolated life of an island.]

The thing is to keep everything within the system,” Franz said. "That's a natural reaction for Witnesses because they are essentially a closed community . . . " --

Let it be noted that in Esther’s day it was similarly and correctly said of those who worshipped the true God Jehovah:

And Haman proceeded to say to King Ahasuerus: “There is one certain people scattered and separated among the peoples in all the jurisdictional districts of your realm; and their laws are different from all other people’s….” -- Esther 3:8.

So thank you Raymond Franz, for being so observant in this particular instance. It is so very clear who the TRUE worshipers of God are in this day and time. Truly, those who worship God in truth are distinguishable by their remaining ‘separate’ from all other peoples of the world. Yes, Jehovah’s Witnesses ARE a “closed community”, a community that properly chooses to “keep everything within the system”. These 'islanders' know full well that there is NOTHING that escapes the notice of the One that created the eye. Certainly Haman’s scheme didn’t go unnoticed, as seen by the fact that he was hung on his own gallows … something you may want to refresh your memory about Mr. Bill Bowen.

Hello Yadirf (Friday): First, Ray Franz is absolutely correct about pedophiles among JWs. The ratios of these criminals is about the same as the rest of society. The problem is as Franz suggested, the "insularity". Such selfish inward, isolated behavior allows wicked perpertrators to victimize more children.

However, your claims about 'being different' by quoting from Esther regarding the noted 'differences' between Jews and others is an irrational and absurd comparison. The Jews were not using their uniqueness to shield and protect child molesters from the authorities. If anything the Jews likely assisted in stoning such bastards. Also, the Jews got involved in the politics of Babylon and Syria during captivity and after. Esther even married 'out of the truth to an unbeliever'. Daniel served as a political Administrator 3rd in line from the King in power and authority.

Your theories and quoting out of context exhibit your serious ignorance of Jewish history as it pertained to anything about the Jews, their religion, reltaionship with God and the nations around them. So any sense where the Jews were in any way 'separate' or 'different' from the Babylonians, Assyrians, or Egyptians and the JW isolationism ends right there. Beyond that there is no real fair comparison between Jews as God's nation and the cult of Jehovah's Witnesses. - Amazing

    When Raymond Franz said:

"But the religion's insularity leads to problems, he said. [Insularity defined: Suggestive of the isolated life of an island.]

    “The thing is to keep everything within the system,” Franz said. "That's a natural reaction for Witnesses because they are essentially a closed community . . . " -- http://www.geocities.com/investigatorjw/coverletter.html";

he was merely pointing out that they are a closed community...like many other cults...not that they are the true religion.

Many religious cults use words such as truth, brother, sister, the way. Many religious cults promote being separate from others that are not part of the cult. Many other cults tell their members not to speak to ex cult members.

If being separate from others is an indication of being the true religion...welll...several religious cults would definately qualify, starting with David Koresh in Waco. And as many of us know, David Koresh and the JWs share the same roots...that of the Millerites from the early 1800s in the US. From the Millerites sprang up several other groups, most of them active to this day.

Anyone else know of any other cults that are essentially closed to outsiders? Let's see how many we can list on this board!

( Of course, cult members will swear up and down that they are not a cult, and will offer proof of why they aren't. However, if they were to take a trip to their local bookstore/library and look at information on recognizing a cult...well, I'll stop dreaming since most cult members have also being "warned" about reading other materials...pre-emtive strikes to keep them ignorant, and within the fold. )

    Yadirf,
I agree with AMAZING. Just because JWs are a closed society, it doesnt mean they have so-called truth.
I will liken their "insularity" to that which is known throughout the Law Enforcement community as the BLUE WALL OF SILENCE. I have known more than a few instances of cops as abusive husbands, yet they are protected as if their shit doesnt stink.
Such protectionism only serves to allow such behavoiur to continue, much to the detriment of their victims.
So it is with JWs and molestation, as AMAZING pointed out. INSULARITY does NOT = "a special relationship with God."

    G'day yaduff,

I think, if anything, the ratio of child molesters to straight folk is likely to be lower in closed religious societies such as the JW sect. However the only similarity I see between the Old Testament Patriaches and the New Order Overlords is their common belief in the 11th commandment. (thou shalt not get caught)

This is an interesting topic - where does the religious give way to the secular authority in situations of law breaking and criminal activity? Do you believe the secular authorities are put in thier places by God to administer justice till he gets back from the throne? (ala Paulian pro-Romanism) or are JW pedophiles to be packed in cottonwool and protected lest 'the world' see all is not well in Jehovah's Kingdom?

Your reply was all too predictable. You said:

The Jews were not using their uniqueness to shield and protect child molesters from the authorities.

That wasn't the point, you silly apostate! You just wish to turn this into an opportunity to spout your disdain for the religion that you didn't have the qualifications to remain a part of.

Also, the Jews got involved in the politics of Babylon and Syria during captivity and after. Esther even married 'out of the truth to an unbeliever'. Daniel served as a political Administrator 3rd in line from the King in power and authority.

You silly apostate, the Jews did no such thing ... Daniel didn't STRIVE to achieve the post he was assigned to, he was appointed to it due to the respect that he gained for his God-given ability to interpret the kings dream. That's a totally different thing than if he had of had political ambitions. How silly can an apostate get anyway?

With regards to Esther having become the wife of a Persian king, that wasn't according to HER choice. It was God's choice, due to the situation which He forsaw that would come to exist during her time.
