I always used to prefer steak medium rare; now it has to be well done or I gag.

Whenever I go out for steak, When they ask how I would like it cooked, I usually say Cremated-it usually gets the point across. Any pink showing makes me wanna gag...

I also forgot to mention that I prefer them to be from an Apostate's ranch somewhere near Anadarko, OK...some of the best dam steaks I ever ate.

forgot.. i prefer home grown beef... but I dont do it anymore. I buy a side from a freind nowdays.
On grass daily till the last 6 weeks...then corn...nothing like a well marbled, fat steer. We keep the meds to a minimum for the private stock. The way they are killed is important... quickly,quietly- and one at a time... no stress or adreniline rush... the taste shows up in the meat.
