(((Lady Lee))) I am so glad your move went well!

I have moved MANY times, so I know how stressful it can be.

I sure wish you would have moved here...then I could pay you to be my "therapist"....

I wish you a very happy life in your new place!!!!!!! (If I lived close enough, I would be happy to help you set up your new home or have you over for a meal).

Only on JWD could Xenawarrior be considered a southerner! LOL

Happy to hear you're safe, Lee. Good luck job and apartment hunting!

I'm so glad you're finally out of there! Now you can relax and let down your guard. I think you'll find that, in a few months, being free from that stress will only help you physically.

    Take care,

Ok Here it is my official statement

    I must be insane

I drove to Ottawa, Got lost, Saw one apartment that was way too expensive and way too small. Got lost several more times to find one work info plaqce only to be sent to a second and then a third only to be told I had to live in the city to get services

    duh yeah I knew that!

Then got lost getting out of the city and got caught in the rush hour traffic and got lost again coming back to my daughters.

    I NEVER get lost!!!

This was more than I could handle in one day

Going to rest up and decide where to go and what to do from here

Lady Lee- sorry you got off to a stressful start. However, once you've got all the particulars sorted out, I'm sure that you'll love Montreal. It's one of the nicest cities I've ever visited. Good luck with your situation, and be well.

Sorry for the confusion Insomniac. I lived in Montreal for 32 years and know it very well.

Today I drove to Ottawa which clearly I don't know as well.

Just had a chat with my daughter and will check out the possibility of taking a french course (french or the lack of it being my biggest stumbling block to getting work here) As a resident of the province before I was not eligible for a free french course. But as a new resident I just might be so I will look into that tomorrow

Whoops! Sorry, I hadn't realized you knew the city, Lady Lee. Good luck with the French language, then. Take care!
