First I try to get something going with all the family around me. I always feel better with them around me.

Or a walk in the woods with my wife and my dog

    Playing catch with my son

play rock / scissors / paper with my daughter.

I feel better just thinking about these things right now, thanks.

    Old Time Rock & Roll

Just take those old records off the shelf
I'll sit and listen to 'em by myself
Today's music aln 't got the same soul
I like that old time rock 'n' roll
Don't try to take me to a disco
You'll never even get me out on the
In ten minutes I'll be late for the door
I like that old time rock'n' roll
Still like that old time rock'n' roll
That kind of music just soothes the soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock 'n' roll
Won't go to hear them play a tango
I'd rather hear some blues or funky old soul
There's only sure way to get me to go
Start playing old time rock 'n' roll
Call me a relic, call me what you will
Say I'm old-fashioned, say I'm over the hill
Today' music ain't got the same soul
I like that old time rock 'n' roll
Still like that old time rock'n' roll
That kind of music just soothes the soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock 'n' roll

Being around children always cheers me up. Talking to them or watching them play.

Negative ions lift my spirits (ocean).

Getting out of the house!! Always helps.

Shopping, which I always dread, but once I'm out, I enjoy it. Except the market. Yuck.

Being around others less fortunate than myself does not lift me up but it puts things in perspective.

Talking to someone on the phone always helps, but rarely happens :)

Exercise usually helps, especially outside, and a nice little breeze is great too.

    Playing with animals is cheering.

Music always helps everything. Pretty much. Heh heh.

Housework definitely helps most of the time.

I'm in a good mood and have been off and on lately, gotta love that rapid cycling effect....hahaha!
