Oh-- forgot... old beater class A rvs are an overlooked source of used 440 wedge engines.... found a few and bought the whole deal for the parts... sold the rest off for scrap or salvage and made out pretty good....

I had a 383 in a 66 Charger and a 440 in a 68 Coronet, Go with the 440. Torque rules.

Hill , thanks i will keep that in mind .
Crazy151, a 383 is a great motor and fast but ya i have to have a 440 and i want to jack up the back end and put on mags. All in good time and money of coarse.
