i agree with you wasasister, i wasnt crazy about fantasia but she blew me away when she sang summertime a few weeks ago.

As always, flower, I love it when someone agrees with me.

I'm not a big fan of "unscripted" TV, but for some reason I got sucked into this season of AI.

If you could listen to Fantasia singing Summertime and still think she stinks, someone should confiscate your cell phone, 'cause you ain't got no taste!

Ah well, I suppose all one has to do is turn on any top 40's station to see that American Pop Music is not exactly the pinnacle of artistic excellence. I'm glad Mozart didn't live to see this.

I could believe that bad Jennifer Hudson was voted off. But i was surprised that LaToya and Fantasia were.

I have to agree about the 3 gals. Diana, La Toya and Fantasia were the best. There is something about Fantasia I just don't like, but I admit she can really sing. I don't care for the tone of her voice, (too nasal like Nell Carter) but she has the style ands never hits a sour note.

I think La Toya will win.

So............who will get the axe tonight everyone?? I think Jasmine. I like her a lot but she isn't in the same league as the other girls.

Jasmine is the logical choice to go at this point, although the voters could pull a surprise on us.

It appears the "final four" will be LaToya, Fantasia, George and Diana.

I have to agree with Mulan, I don't really "like" Fantasia. I think she has an attitude. But, I think she will make it through this round.

I believe that Jasmine will be voted off tonight.

When Fantasia sang her last song , last night,. I too was very moved by it. She can really emot on the songs that she sings and her emotion is transmitted to the listener. I'm not sure if Laytoya is as good at that as Fantasia is.

Maybe I have changed and think she (Fantasia) should win.. only because Lay Toya is just too darn flawless. It is almost like she should not have been in this competition for she is too polished in everything she does.

One of the show's producers, also a musician were on one of the morning talk shows today. He said that Fantasia actually missed a lot of notes but she has such great audience appeal, that no one noticed. He feels LaToya will win though. She is consistent, consistent, consistent.

IMHO, last night's rankings (from best to worst) were:

1. LaToya
2. Fantasia
3. Diana
4. George
5. Jasmine

Jas will probably be the one to go tonight. But, George wasn't much better this week. I wouldn't be surprised if he went instead. America doesn't always make sense with their voting. Two weeks ago is a prime example. I think everyone thought "Oh Jennifer (or LaToya or Fantasia) will be safe, I'm going to vote for George instead...." And everyone else did the same thing. Personally, I think LaToya is awesome. It's going to come down to her and Fantasia.

I bought it yesterday. I love it! My only disappointment was that "Band of Gold" wasn't on it. That's the song that she and Frenchie sang in at the auditions at the beginning of Season Two.
