Part of my 'un-witnessing' - if you will... up to -30 hours for the year. Just trying to figure who to turn in my un-time to. *wide grin*

I wish I could SUBTRACT hours from the field service time I reported to the congregations between 1968 and 2000.

Jim -- I think any district overbeer on this site will be happy to collect your time. Just be sure to carry over fractions of hours to the next month!!

If I have a pen handy, I just give them the URL to one of Randy's sites,www.randytv.org, www.freeminds.org and this site.

Perhaps we should all have a rubber stamp made to stamp them with that simply says:

    BEWARE!

    www.silentlambs.org

    www.freeminds.org

You're at minus 30! You know, with just a few adjustments you could pioneer. all it takes is a good schedule...

If you found a #### mag in a public place are you wrong to throw it out? Very few people would call that censorship. If someone puts a Watchtower in a public place, then its up for grabs. If I pick it up, look at it and throw it out so be it. Very few people will call that censorship. Plus, have you ever heard of someone becoming a Jw because of what they read in the laundrymat? They are put there to make a service report look better than it really is.

jeece, the un-time is too funny! Before I totally became 'inactive', I would 'witness' and NOT count the time just because LOL

I haven't thrown any shiterature away yet, but I'm not really that concerned about it - everyone knows that garbage doesn't work at bringing in any real numbers of converts - its about keeping the corporation going by dubs paying for it ONCE and then TWICE when (if) they get their 'donation to the worldwide work' imo....sheesh

but i suppose if it was convenient I would throw it away just like if I were to see porn lying on the side of the road - i'd huck it to save some child from getting it (of course I wouldn't look at it at all......lol)

    boa......

I'm SHOCKED that you would just up and THROW AWAY the mags like that!!!!

I make sure I tear them up BEFORE throwing them away... that way no one can dig them out and put them back on display!

While I can see some point to what you say, I say it's just as presumptious for the JW's to leave their magazines scattered about in public places. There's a time and place for everything, and unless there's an actual INVITATION to leave literature from the owner of the train, the laundromat, or whatever building -- then it is technically UNINVITED and can be viewed as a nuisance.

Agreed, but I don't think it justifies the presumptious reaction spoken of here, again, unless it is your property.
