The WTS has circulated petitions among non-JWs to support their issues/rights. But don't circulate a petition inside the congregation. I know of 2 congregations, one within the last 10 years that got up a petition and sent it to the WTS regarding a problem with policy. The WTS response was to dissolve the congregation and to DF everyone who would not back down from the petition.

Why are there no polls in the "Awake!" magazine?
1. Dubs don't have opinions.
3. No-one in Brooklyn is interested in polls.
4. They don't want to know what you think.
6. Polls may tell them what they don't want to know.
7. Polls would show it's not a "spiritual paradise".
9. The WTS doesn't like "public opinion".
11. Other (please detail) Someone would have to count the ballots, and that would take time away from field service.

11. Other (please detail) Much like #7....Polls would prove that the WTS's claim of being 'all unified in thought' would be proven wrong. They don't want to see "independent thinking".
